Software patents are way out of hand. A lot of these 'techniques' simply arise out of the way things work. Preparing files in fast storage before moving them to slower storage is just the way its done.

I'm going to patent my technique for wiping my ass and then everyone will be screwed.

I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago because 'Love Actually' was sold out. I thought it was entertaining, but nothing special. Its good to see that it has a saving grace.
